I think it goes without saying that I am most grateful for my amazing family, dearest friends, and my health. That being said, this post will center around the more tangible things I’m thankful for.
This little ball of fur brings me more joy than I ever thought possible. He is spoiled rotten and anyone who knows me knows that I treat him like a child. I just love the little guy! We even take selfies together. Don’t judge.
I’m incredibly thankful for the fact that there are Jimmy John’s located extremely close to both work and my apartment. My JJ intake has quadrupled since I’ve moved to Grand Rapids. My sandwich of choice? Beach club with no tomatoes. It’s where it’s at.
Can’t leave the house without it. Plain and simple. And it’s gotta be the Original Chapstick.
My awesome coworkers
My coworkers are amazing. My job is very fast paced and can be incredibly stressful at times. We get yelled at all day by customers who “have no idea why their prescription is taking so long” but my coworkers keep me laughing and make it all so much more bearable. Plus, if I’m lucky, my technicians will bring me lunch on the weekends 😉
My foot massager
I purchased this calf/foot massager earlier this year and it seriously the MOST AMAZING THING EVER. Anyone who has to stand all day at work needs one of these. It’s the UComfy Leg, Foot and Calf Massager and it’s a little pricey, but it’s totally worth the splurge if your feet scream at you at the end of the day like mine do.
I used to never go near the stuff, but now I feel like my face is not complete without eyeliner. I’ve experimented with different ways of wearing it (only on the bottom lid, only on the top lid, on both lids, directly on the lid line, right below the lid, etc.) but now I pretty much only wear it on my top lids, and if I’m going out I’ll wear it on the top and bottom. I tried getting ready without it one day last week and I felt like you couldn’t see my eyes. Ha.
I could eat goat cheese every single day and never get sick of it. In fact, I pretty much do! My favorite ways to eat it are in omelets and sandwiches, and as a dip for crackers and pita chips. Mmmmm…
What are you thankful for today?
